FAQ

While CBD is amazing, it can also be confusing. And CAASI gets it. To clear it up, here’s some answers to frequently asked questions to help you make an informed decision.

Where does CAASI CBD come from?
CAASI CBD Beverage Drops are made from craft hemp grown on the Horn Creek Farm in Southwest Oregon – one of the world’s best environments for this special crop. Read about their story here.
What is CBD isolate?
CBD isolate is a form of extract that has been processed down to only the CBD molecule and contains zero THC. No other chemical compounds are extracted.
How long does it take to work?
In general, effectiveness times vary on the product. However, because CAASI beverage drops are sonically vibrated, the drops can be felt in as little as ten minutes for most.
What dosage should I take?
CAASI’s recommended dosage is .75-1ml. We recommend starting small, once or twice a day. You may feel effects immediately or you may feel noticeable therapeutic changes after about a week.
Will this product get me high?
NO! Hemp CBD isolate has no THC, meaning it is completely non-intoxicating.
What is the shelf life of CBD beverage drops?
Our drops will last about 3 to 4 months after opening. If it’s refrigerated, it can last a little longer.
Will I fail a drug test if I use CAASI?
It depends on the testing standards of the lab administering your drug test. Most companies only search for the THC cannabinoid. CAASI beverage drops are THC free. There are some testing facilities that check for a spectrum of cannabinoids that could trigger a positive drug test. You can always contact the lab to verify what exactly will be tested.
What is CBD and why use it?
CBD (cannabidiol) is a non-intoxicating plant compound that offers gentle physical and mental relaxation. Whether you’re seeking calm, creativity or balance, our CBD is a safe way to experience the numerous benefits of craft hemp.
CBD isolate versus CBD oil?
While CBD isolate is 100% pure CBD, CBD oil contains other terpenes and chemical compounds found within the hemp plant. Coming as a full-spectrum or broad-spectrum product, CBD oil has different purposes for the user. More on this here.
In processing CBD beverage drops, why does sonic vibration matter?
Using sonication (sound waves), we’ve reduced the size of the CBD particles in our drops, making them water suspendable and easy to mix into your favorite beverage. This process also improves bioavailability and reduces activation time, bringing on the effects of CBD more quickly and effectively.
How does CBD work?
CBD supports the positive effects of endocannabinoids (ECs), which are natural cellular messengers made in our own bodies. CBD influences the receptors of the ECs. ECs help regulate our body’s systems to maintain optimal functioning, promoting optimal health and wellness.
What does CBD feel like?
Some describe CBD isolate effects as making them feel as if they’re “in the flow” or that it brings “a sense of calmness.” Others have said that CBD isolates make them feel “more awake” or “energized” after they take the product.
Who shouldn’t take CBD products?
CBD has never produced any serious medical emergencies that we’re aware of. It’s better to check with a medical professional if you’re not sure. CAASI is a vendor member of Leaf411.org, a free cannabis nurse hotline. If you’re not sure please give them a call.
What is hemp?
Legal regulations define “hemp” as a cannabis plant with no more than 0.3% THC – the main intoxicating compound found in cannabis. However, CBD can be sourced from both hemp (low-THC cannabis) and “marijuana” (higher-THC cannabis).
What does craft hemp mean?
“Craft hemp” is a term used to describe resinous plants that are bred to emphasize their level of CBD production, rather than fiber generally on smaller farms.
Why is it important to test hemp CBD at respected labs?
Test results ensure that your products are devoid of dangerous pesticides, molds, and fungus and have the potency that the manufacturers claim. Cannabinoid potency informs you on how to dose your intake and helps you choose a product giving you desired results.
I'm going on vacation, can I travel with CBD in the US?
According to TSA, you can transport FDA-approved medications containing CBD, as well as any other products containing CBD, in both carry-on and checked luggage. These regulations only apply to hemp-derived CBD that’s less than .3% THC, just like CAASI.
